Sister Other Paranoia Walkthrough

Spoiler policy before you scroll

This page describes how to reach the four confirmed endings in Sister Other Paranoia. It names motifs, a few exact choice lines, and title-screen interactions. If you have not finished one run, stop here and use Getting Started, How to Play, and Routes instead.

The structure below is verified against post-release walkthrough reporting (including NookGaming’s published guide) and matches the five-scenario / four-chapter layout described in launch reviews. We do not invent extra secret endings, affection meters, or unstated flags. If Steam or HazeDenki later document a patch that changes locks, trust the live build over this article.

Sister Other Paranoia is a short classic visual novel from HazeDenki—scenario and direction by nyalra, published by Serenity Forge—now available on Steam (app 4240150). Reviews describe a one-sitting read. That brevity is why a walkthrough can stay small: most dialogue choices do not change the outcome.

Structure you need before any ending

After the prologue you reach a selection screen with five motifs: Bat, Caterpillar, Monkey, Ring, and Fox. Each motif is a scenario split into four chapters. You may pick any unlocked motif at a checkpoint. Finishing a chapter returns you to the motif screen. Finishing a scenario’s fourth chapter “cracks” that icon so you cannot progress it again.

One lock matters: the Ring motif’s final chapter only opens after you have cleared the final chapters of Bat, Caterpillar, Monkey, and Fox. Treat Ring as the last scenario to finish, not the first.

For a spoiler-lighter map of that loop, stay on Routes. For which prompts are cosmetic versus ending-critical, keep Choices open beside this page.

What almost never matters

Launch guides agree on a blunt rule: choices do not change the outcome except where an ending walkthrough names them. You can role-play Hasuya’s contempt, hesitate on mind-reading prompts, or pick the “softer” line in most conversations and still reach the same chapter beat. That is a relief for completionists and a warning for optimizer brains trained on NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD meters—see From NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD.

Save anyway. Heavy scenes (injury CGs, suicide-adjacent mind-reading, sibling codependency) are easier to leave and return to if you keep a slot before each fourth chapter. Comfort tools: Content Warnings and the Content Warning Checker.

Ending 1 — “Bad” ending (Caterpillar, chapter 4)

Spoiler block. On the fourth chapter of the Caterpillar scenario, you are prompted to tell Igusa something. The line that continues the scenario is “You can fly.” Any other option cuts the run short, dumps you to the title screen, and counts as the abrupt “Bad” ending.

If you wanted a full catalog of scenes, reload the chapter-4 save and pick “You can fly.” If you wanted the Bad ending on purpose, pick anything else and stop—do not assume a hidden continue.

Caterpillar is the only scenario this wiki will firmly attach to a named supporting character for an ending fork, because the walkthrough text names Igusa at that prompt. We will not invent Bat / Fox / Ring character tables to fill space. Named cast context lives on Characters.

Ending 2 — Monkey ending (early exit)

Spoiler block. Do not enter any other scenario’s fourth chapter first. Play the Monkey motif through its third chapter and choose: “He’s not a bad guy, just misguided. With a change of heart now, he might just live through this.” That line routes you into an alternative ending and returns you to the title screen.

This is the easiest ending to miss if you clear every fourth chapter in a tidy circle before touching Monkey’s late scenes. If you already cracked the other icons, you may need a fresh save or a replay from an earlier Monkey slot.

Ending 3 — Normal ending (tower)

Spoiler block. Finish all four chapters of all five scenarios, including the locked Ring finale. Return to the motif screen and click the tower in the middle. That interaction is the Normal ending—not another chapter, and not a hidden settings menu.

If the tower does nothing, you are probably missing a cracked icon. Ring’s last chapter is the usual culprit. Recheck Routes for the lock order, then come back.

Ending 4 — True ending (title screen)

Spoiler block. After you have seen the Normal ending, return to the title screen and click Sahana’s head. That is the fourth ending. It is easy to walk past if you quit to desktop the moment credits roll.

This wiki will not describe what the True ending shows. The walkthrough’s job is the unlock, not a plot recap. If you want critic context for how short the whole package feels after four endings, read Steam Reception and Preview.

Suggested completion order

A clean first catalog run that still leaves room for the Monkey ending:

  1. Prologue, then open any motif except Ring’s finale.
  2. Keep a save before each scenario’s fourth chapter.
  3. If you want the Monkey ending, take Monkey’s third-chapter fork before other fourth chapters.
  4. Otherwise play freely until only Ring’s last chapter remains.
  5. Clear Ring 4, click the tower, then click Sahana on the title screen.
  6. Optionally reload Caterpillar 4 for the Bad ending if you skipped it.

That order respects the Ring lock without forcing a single “correct” reading of Hasuya’s social circle. Reviews note eight main characters and five freely chosen scenarios; the walkthrough only needs the motif names and the four ending gates.

Length, saves, and aftercare

NookGaming and CrazyGameCommunity both describe a fast, one-sitting read. Plan two to three hours if you linger on CGs and hide-text moments, less if you skip. Steam’s mature-content block still applies on every replay: blood and injury CGs, mild suggestive imagery, mental-health distress, and the marketed mind-reading path toward suicide. Official store text allows full-game streams with spoilers and monetization—see Streaming—but your audience’s consent is separate from HazeDenki’s permission.

After a completionist night, step away. The Story Overview and Staff pages are safer cool-down reading than comment-section ending arguments.

Use this walkthrough as a lockpick, not as a substitute for reading nyalra’s prose. The motifs are the map; the endings are four doors; the game is still the text in between.
